🌿 Our Seasonal Shipping Schedule

To ensure your native plants arrive healthy and ready to thrive, we only ship plants while they are fully dormant in the Spring and Fall. Shipping active, leafy plants during summer heat or mid-winter freezes causes unnecessary stress and lowers survival rates.

Shipping Windows

  • Spring Shipping: Late March – May (Orders ship once ground thaws and before spring bud break)
  • Fall Shipping: October – November (Orders ship as plants enter autumn dormancy before frozen ground)

📦 How to Order & Select Your Shipping Season

Because availability varies by species and season, you must select your preferred Shipping Season (Spring or Fall) on the product page before adding an item to your cart.

Important Shipping Rules:

  1. Mixed Season Orders: If you select Spring for some items and Fall for others within the same order, your order will be split into two separate shipments. Additional shipping fees may apply to cover the second delivery.
  2. Pre-Orders & Order Holds: Placing an order reserves your plants from our nursery inventory for that upcoming shipping window. Your payment is processed at checkout to secure your plants.
  3. Weather Delays: Live plants are subject to weather conditions. We monitor temperatures closely and may briefly delay shipments during severe unseasonal freezes or heat waves to protect your plants.
  4. Transit & Days of Shipping: To avoid plants sitting in transit facilities over weekends, all orders ship Monday through Wednesday via standard ground service.
  5. Order Updates: You will receive a tracking email as soon as your shipping label is created for your selected season.
