Refund policy
πΏ Our Live Arrival Guarantee
Because we ship dormant, high-quality native plants directly from our nursery, we guarantee that your plants will arrive alive, healthy, and ready to break dormancy in their proper season.
π¦ Arrived Damaged or Dead? (48-Hour Notice Required)
Live plants are perishable and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense via mail once delivered. If your shipment arrives damaged by transit or in poor condition, please follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:
- Take Photos: Take clear pictures of the damaged plant(s), the shipping box, and the shipping label.
- Contact Us: Email your photos, order number, and a brief description of the issue toΒ zenpossum25@gmail.com.
- Resolution: Upon verification, we will issue a full refund or arrange a replacement shipment for the next available shipping window at no extra cost to you.
Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery confirmation may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
π± Dormancy & Guarantee Breaking Period
Dormant plants can take 2 to 4 weeks after planting in spring (under appropriate weather and soil conditions) to wake up and show initial signs of new leaf or root growth.
- Spring Shipments: If your dormant plant fails to break dormancy within 30 days of planting, contact us with photos of the plant in the ground and a gentle scratch test showing the stem/stem tissues. We will evaluate for a replacement or store credit.
- Fall Shipments: Plants shipped in autumn are entering winter dormancy. Your guarantee carries over to the following spring. If your fall-planted nursery stock does not emerge by June 1st, please contact us with photos.
π« What Is Not Covered
We take great pride in delivering healthy native plants, but we cannot be responsible for plant failure due to factors outside our control once plants leave our care. Our guarantee does not cover:
- Plants damaged or lost due to being left outside in extreme heat, freezing conditions, or rain after delivery confirmation.
- Incorrect planting techniques, lack of watering, overwatering, or planting outside recommended USDA Hardiness Zones.
- Damage caused by local wildlife (deer, rabbits, voles), severe weather events, or chemical applications (herbicides, pesticides).
- Order cancellations or return requests once the package has already shipped.
