Soil: Grows in a wide range of soil types; enjoys areas that are regularly moist.
Space Requirement: 12-16 ft; branches get up 10 ft tall and can droop as fruit develops.
Light Requirement: Full sun/part shade
We have an offering of four different elderberry varieties. Adams is an old heirloom variety discovered in New York back in the early 1900s. The varieties Johns and Nova were bred from the Adams variety and are very similar in growth and fruit production. Use them like you would any other elderberry (elderberry jelly is one of my favorites)!
