Soil: Tolerates poor soil, but needs to be well drained. Drought tolerant.

Space Required: 2-3 ft wide and tall. Plants have a tendency to fall over and continue flowering.

Light Requirements: Full sun

This native wildflower is loved by all manner of native pollinators. Especially bumblebees but I've also seen a variety of small native bees that visit these flowers. They start blooming in early to mid summer and continue blooming up until the first frost hits. They are a short lived perennial that is a prolific self seeder forming dense colonies of blooms.
