- Awesome Oak with a distinctive shape; branches stand tall at the top, jut out at ninety degrees in the middle of the canopy, and droop down at the bottom. Forms an amazing gradient of color in the fall. A little faster growing than other oaks making it a great addition to the landscape if you're looking to have a larger oak tree in a shorter time. Pin oaks love sites that stay relatively moist with slightly acidic soil, although they adapt well to many landscaping conditions.
